Meet the Mobile Mike's Team!
A father and son duo, our team is passionate about helping you get back to doing what you love most. We strive to deliver the highest quality services and get your RV systems performing at their best as quickly as possible.
Mike Barfknecht
After working in manufacturing for 30+ years, Mike needed a change. His entrepreneurial itch was persistent, but he struggled to find an outlet. That is until he and his wife achieved a long-time goal of purchasing their first travel trailer. His research on operating and maintaining the RV made one thing abundantly clear - in addition to ongoing maintenance, frequent repairs were inevitable.

Further research proved that not only was relying on in-shop services inconvenient, long wait times could keep them off the road for months. Mobile repair services were an option, but the lack of qualified technicians was problematic.

Having always been mechanically inclined, Mike thought this could be the career he had been hoping for, as well as an opportunity to help people by providing a much-needed service. After copious research, education and planning, Mobile Mike's was born!
Mike is an RVTAA certified RV technician and all-around RV travel enthusiast. When he isn't working on your RV, he enjoys spending time in his own, traveling with his wife and two "baby girls" - pups Bailey & Maisy.

Shawn Barfknecht
Shawn is an RVTI certified RV technician, as well as an ASE certified master automotive technician, with over 11 years of experience in the industry. When he learned of the pending inception of Mobile Mike's, he saw an opportunity to utilize his current skill set in a new way, and the demand for mobile techs quickly roped him in. Despite the company name, he is an equal partner in the business.

Shawn is a master troubleshooter and skilled repairman who is passionate about getting your RV back into shape...fast. With his focus and determination, you can be that if it can be fixed, he'll find a way!
​
In his spare time, he enjoys autocross, ATVing with his wife, traveling and spending time with his boys - pups Nismo & Max.
